Become a Book Editor | Edited Book Proposal

A doctorate degree is required for work as a book editor. Interested candidates can email their resume and consent letter to us at akinikbooks@gmail.com. They can also propose new edited books.


Proposal for new edited book should contain following:
1. Title of edited book
2. Scope of edited book
3. Consent form
4. Resume of editor (should include: color photo, current institutional affiliation)

  1. What are the eligibilities for editor in an edited book/s?
    • A doctorate degree is required to work as a book editor. He/she can also propose new edited books.
  2. How can I propose an edited book?
    • Proposal for a new edited book should contain following:

  3. Can I submit an edited book proposal more than one?
    • The visitor can apply for only a single edited book proposal at a single time. If more than 3-4 volumes of the proposed edited book publish successfully, then we can accept proposal for another edited book.
  4. What are the policies and duties of editors after accepting the edited book proposal?
    • An editor/s has to keep track of scheduled dates to ensure the edited book gets published within time.
    • The editor/s requires “The Call for Book Chapters” to help publisher for publishing multiple volumes of the proposed edited book through circulating the edited book to his/her colleagues, students etc. and through his/her own ability of circulating by various platforms.
    • Once the edited book is ready for publication after proposing, after reviewing, the editor can recommend modifications and expertise the authors/co-authors through publisher at the time of proofreading of edited book.
    • If the editor wants the published edited book's print copy, then he has to pay the material cost of the printed edited book. An editor can contact for a discussion with the publisher.
  5. Can I propose edited book in other languages except English?
    • Yes, you can propose edited book in any language. The publisher is comfortable in publishing book in all global languages.
