Research on Influencing Factors of High School Students' Mathematics Intuitive Imagination Core Literacy

With the proposal of mathematics core literacy, mathematics education scholars and front-line teachers are focusing on the implementation of mathematics core literacy. They put forward a lot of training methods for intuitive imagination literacy, but lack of specific training methods for different levels and aspects of intuitive imagination literacy. Therefore, it is of great value to understand which main factors affect the improvement of students' intuitive imagination literacy in high school mathematics teaching. It is of great significance for the current high school mathematics teaching reform to find out the major influencing factors and the degree of their influence.

In 2016, Beijing Normal University introduced a new direction in curriculum reform, aiming to cultivate "all-round development people" by focusing on core competencies across subjects. In mathematics, these competencies include mathematical abstraction, logical reasoning, mathematical modeling, intuitive imagination, mathematical operations, and data analysis. This book discusses the significance of these competencies, emphasizing their interdependence. The concept of intuitive imagination, which blends spatial imagination and geometric intuition, is explored in detail. By analyzing how these competencies align with curriculum standards, the book provides a framework for fostering holistic mathematical skills in students.
