Finite Element Analysis in Prosthodontics

Finite element analysis is a computational method for predicting how structures and systems respond to forces, heat, and other physical effects. A complex object is divided into small, simple elements forming a mesh. Mathematical equations are solved for each element, then combined to model overall behavior. FEA is widely used in engineering to test designs, reduce prototypes, and analyze stress, vibration, deformation, and heat transfer before physical manufacturing.
