Biodiversity of Scarabaeoidea (Coleoptera) in Kanha National Park, Madhya Pradesh, India: A Field Guide and Checklist

The Scarabaeoidea of Kanha National Park provides the first comprehensive documentation and field guide on this ecologically significant beetle superfamily in Central India. Addressing a critical knowledge gap, this book compiles results from recent surveys identifying 89 species across 36 genera and 8 subfamilies, including 17 species newly recorded for the park. The publication highlights dung beetles and chafers, emphasizing their respective roles in soil enrichment and plant pollination. Each species account includes photographic records and detailed information on distribution patterns within India and globally.
