AIMS AND SCOPE OF THIS BOOK: Aim of this book is to make CBME Practical Exam Made Easy for Medical Graduates. BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE: The new graduate medical education regulations intends to make the medical students provide health care to the evolving needs of the community especially women suffering with many obstetrical and gynaecological disorders. The evaluation pattern of medical students also has changed drastically in the recent past. So, this session contains the most commonly encountered clinical scenarios which would be in the form of objective structural clinical examination OSCE, A ready reckoner for our exam going students. I would like to share point wise study material with the students so that they get benefited by readily recollecting the subject and perform in a better way in their OSCE examination. INTENDED AUDIENCE AND ITS NEEDS: undergraduate and postgraduates to meet the needs of OSCE examination. OUTLINE THE PROBLEM THE BOOK SOLVES: We would like medical students to become good clinicians who understands and provides preventive, promotive, curative, palliative and holistic care with compassion. For that they need to gain knowledge in the subject with reference to a case scenario which we manage in the day today practice. We also want them to score good in their practical exam and viva as proposed in the CBME curriculum. So, i have included study material which help them in their OSCE Exam and i have given point wise description of partogram, imaging modalities in OBG, cardiotocography, endoscopy films, pap smear and HPE reports and lab reports which would be a ready reckoner for all exam going medical students.I have also used original pictures for better understanding, I have made a simplified and easily recollected material. Once they gain knowledge they would perform well in their exam and gain confidence. The pictorial depictions are in a colorfull form, so that it would be eye catching to the readers, it would stimulate them to be life long learner committed to continuous improvement of skills and knowledge. Finally, apart from learning, medicos would be well prepared for the assessment in the practical exams too with goodretention capacity.
