Fungi are one of the important organism that occurs on the planet and plays an important role in the management of the Environment. The book “Mycotalk is a commemoration volume in the remembrance of the renowned mycologist, Late Prof. K.M. Vyas, former head of the Department of Botany (Dr. Harisingh Gour Vishwavidyalaya, Sagar). This book deals with the various aspects of soil fungi, pathogenic fungi, beneficial fungi and Mushrooms. Mushrooms are always a source of attraction for mycologist; therefore, several chapters dealing with their taxonomy have been included. AM fungi, known for their potential as a biofertilizer and bioprotectant, have also been discussed.
