Dalit women in Punjab are definitely interested towards empowerment and equality. Certainly Dalit women in Punjab depict the time picture of caste, class and gender discrimination as they face exploitation and humiliation. But education and hard work is the magic tool for survival. Mostly women take decision with the help of their husband’s point of view. Many government schemes have been working for the welfare of Dalit women. Finally, political participation of women/Dalit women in India is on rise but it seems that decision making is still very limited.
