Description
Probiotics play an important role in combating antibiotic overuse and antimicrobial resistance. The modern technological era would be an excellent time to change the way bacteria are treated. The belief in probiotics' beneficial effects stems from the knowledge that the intestinal flora can protect humans from infection and that disruption of this flora can increase susceptibility to infection. Probiotics should be chosen based on products that have been clinically tested for any disorders they may cause. Despite advances in understanding of pathogen-host interactions, the role of beneficial bacteria in preventing the emergence of pathogenic species and maintaining oral health remains unknown. There is a critical need to understand the role of oral beneficial microbiota, identify beneficial bacteria, and conduct large-scale studies on the efficacy of probiotics in maintaining or improving oral and Systemic health.
