Description
This book consists of research studies that have been put together to provide a wholesome picture of the existing scenario of specific parts of Indian rural society. The research studies have been carried out in various places that have been compiled and presented chapter-wise. The book consists of 9 chapters on specific subject areas, including entrepreneurship, lifestyle and livelihood practices of specific tribal communities, farming systems practised, constraints faced by farmers, and ICTs among rural farmers, etc. It is mainly intended to introduce the situations, problems encountered, and needs of the rural areas and clear the path to more research and implementation of need-based programmes through this book. I am grateful to all those scholars who contributed to the writing and preparation of the book.
